- Step 1: In a small pot, sauté the chopped onion in a teaspoon of oil over medium heat until translucent.
- Step 2: Add the diced tomato and curry powder, cooking for an additional 2 minutes.
- Step 3: Stir in the rinsed red lentils and add 1 cup of water. Bring to a simmer and let it cook for about 15 minutes until the lentils are soft.
